The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Manager to join our team. This position will manage multiple Phantom Works programs and employees at the St. Louis site.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure, including security inquiries, compliance assessments and implementation security controls.
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 10 or more years of work experience overall
- 5 or more years of industrial security experience in a variety of security support capacities such as, personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and other programmatic security-related field
- Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP) information, or other restricted-level access
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience leading teams in a formal role
- Ability to successfully obtain a Government Sponsored Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5 years or more of relevant security-related work experience in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP, and/or SCI
- 3+ years of Project Management experience
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense or Aerospace environment
- 3+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.

Pay range: $109,000 - $194,000
