Morson are proud to be working in partnership with Safran to recruit Deburrers to support the production programme at their Wolverhampton site.

What does the role look like?
This role sits within the Gears Cell, supporting the finishing and quality preparation of precision-engineered components. You will be responsible for deburring and fettling machined gear components to aerospace standards, ensuring all parts meet strict quality and safety requirements. The environment is fast-paced, highly regulated, and focused on precision and consistency.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
Deburring and finishing of machined gear components using hand tools and equipment
Removing sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections to required standards
Interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
Carrying out visual inspections to ensure quality compliance
Working to tight tolerances within aerospace specifications
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Supporting continuous improvement within the cell
What will you bring to the role?
Essential SkillsNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering or Manufacturing
Previous experience in deburring, fettling, or finishing precision components
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
Desirable ExperienceExperience working within a gears or precision machining cell
Knowledge of aerospace quality standards
Familiarity with hand tools and measurement equipment
Previous experience working to tight tolerances
