Position Summary
Responsible for designing, developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, delivery and cost performance. This role leads process improvement initiatives and supports new product introductions. Requires a cross functional team lead to resolve manufacturing challenges, standardize best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for production and quality issues.
Design and update work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Support and lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process validation, PFMEA, and control plan development.
Evaluate and implement tooling, fixtures, equipment, and automation solutions.
Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing to maximize productivity.
Analyze manufacturing data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Provide technical training and guidance to operators and production staff.
Support capital expenditure projects, including equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Participate in layout design and facility optimization projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or equivalent).
Experience of 2 - 4 years.
Advanced English proficiency
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and industrial engineering principles.
Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement tools.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
Experience with process documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and Work Instructions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
Working knowledge of CAD software is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
