The Manufacturing Contracts Coordinator processes all customer orders using an online operations system and interacts with customers to provide order shipping status and delivery information. This role involves locating the name and telephone number of the sales representative for customers to ensure appropriate communication among the customer, sales representative, and company. The coordinator may review and release electronic data interchange, expedite emergency orders upon customer request, quote prices over the telephone, and provide sales analysis information on orders. The position requires performing non-routine and moderately complex assignments independently, researching assignments, processing and analyzing data, and potentially developing recommendations. It also involves competently using computers and other systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data. The coordinator may provide leadership and direction to lower-level employees and determine methods, operations, sequences, or develop and/or modify products and equipment to meet requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for customer inquiries and solicitations.
• Act as an internal liaison with Quality, Production Control, Shipping, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance departments.
• Host status calls with internal and external customers.
• Create, maintain, and close contracts in the ERP system.
• Handle purchase order acceptance and entry.
• Provide basic status reporting.
• Possess exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external customers.

• 2-3 years of experience with production scheduling, including inputs and lead times.
• Experience in coordinating within a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including V-lookups and Pivot Tables.
• 2-3 years of direct experience with ERP systems, such as SAP.
• 2-3 years of experience with BOMs and purchase orders (acceptance and entry).

• Knowledge in aerospace defense, procurement, production control, and logistics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
