We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to join and expand our Manufacturing team, transitioning from a small workshop to volume production. This position involves taking ownership of the mechanical assembly of drones, including the manufacturing of components and systems such as motors, drone structures, and sensors. The assembler will also be responsible for testing aircraft components.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Perform mechanical assembly of drone components and systems.
• Manufacture and test drones component assemblies including motors, structures, and sensors.
• Utilize hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, drills, and calipers.
• Conduct soldering tasks and bond composites like carbon fiber and epoxies.
• Read and follow basic SOPs and non-technical instructions accurately.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and mechanical skills.

• 5+ years of Assembly experience- performing builds from start to finish, repairs, and working on prototypes.
• Proficiency in assembly using hand and power tools.
• Basic soldering skills.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and non-technical instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including MacOS or Microsoft.
• Problem-solving skills, good judgment, and proactivity.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with bonding composites is nice to have.

You’ll work in our South San Francisco facility, which includes:

• Front Office– Coordination and planning
• Nest– Assembly of recovery, launch, and battery systems
• Vehicles– Drone body and composite wing structure assembly
• Logistics– Shipping and receiving

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
