Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to perform complex setups, edits, and operate both established and new product introduction (NPI) jobs with minimal supervision. The role requires ensuring that parts conform to specifications and requirements, making necessary modifications or adjustments. This position involves verifying dimensions using standard measuring instruments and collaborating with the engineering department on various machining aspects.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex setups, edits, and operate CNC machines with minimal supervision.
- Ensure parts conform to specifications and requirements.
- Make modifications or adjustments as necessary.
- Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments such as micrometers, depth gage, height gage, and vernier.
- Read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets.
- Collaborate with the engineering department regarding material conditions, best positioning of parts, tool pressure, etc.
- Detect faulty operations and materials and report these along with other problems to the immediate supervisor.
Essential Skills- 3-5 years of experience machining in an aerospace environment.
- Three or more years of experience setting up and operating CNC Devlieg Milling Machines.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls and willingness to cross-train on various operations/equipment.
- Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Willingness to learn basic CNC Programming.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
