Job Description:

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing production personnel and processes to ensure efficient, on-time production of components while meeting customer, quality, and organizational requirements. This role provides leadership, planning, and coordination across production, inventory, and support teams to drive operational excellence.•Develop daily production goals to meet customer demands and contractual obligations; plan, direct, and assign duties to production personnel; schedule and authorize overtime as necessary.•Establish workflow policies to improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality. Communicate relevant updates to production staff to maintain smooth operations.•Collaborate with Quality, HSE, and Maintenance teams for scheduled or unscheduled equipment maintenance and calibration.•Work with the Quality Department to ensure timely training and assist in training efforts as needed.•Monitor daily progress to ensure production goals are met; address issues proactively and escalate to the Repair Station Manager when required.•Track shop and shipping supplies; assist in updating stockroom orders and inventory tracking.•Prepare customer and shipping reports as needed.•Work with the Inventory Manager to proactively address potential inventory deficiencies.•Ensure Work-in-Process (WIP) records are accurate; resolve discrepancies and coordinate with Purchasing for structural parts.•Review WIP daily, including rejected materials, and maintain appropriate documentation.•Monitor tire inventory, place orders as necessary, and complete month-end tire inventory reports.•Track mobile technician app usage among production personnel, provide training, and address inconsistencies.•Monitor and report daily metrics to optimize production and communicate updates to the team.•Track all non-production hours and manage rejected units or units sent to OSR.•Collaborate with Repair Station Manager, support staff, and production personnel to track work progress and anticipate potential issues.•Participate in hiring and onboarding of new production personnel.•Lead, mentor, and motivate production personnel, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.•Evaluate employee performance, provide coaching, and administer corrective actions as needed.•Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.•Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.
Job Requirements:

•Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact across departments and levels.•Proven leadership abilities with a track record of improving production and team performance.•Strong knowledge of production management principles and practices.•Excellent interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and collaboration.•Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload effectively.•Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.•Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.•Detail-oriented with strong coaching and training capabilities.•Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.•High School Diploma or equivalent required.•Minimum of 2 years of production supervisory experience preferred.•Experience in an aviation production environment preferred.
