THE WORK

The selected candidate will be a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of Non-Exempt (20+) employees’ cable and wire prep assemblers. Position responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the team, managing personnel, staffing, schedule compliance, and continuous improvement activities. The Candidate will also lead/facilitate a Performance Management team (PMT).

WHO YOU ARE

You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of direct experience in a Manufacturing environment.

- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing/production methodologies.

- Working Knowledge of such programs as Hazardous Waste Management, Safety, Training, FOD, ESD, 6S, etc.

- Two or more years of management/supervisory experience.

- Ability to work second shift 3:30pm- 2:00am
Desired Skills:
- Good people skills and patience to develop future production leaders.

- 5 or more years of experience in cable and wire prep

- IPC/WHMA 620 Certified is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.

- Effective problem-solving and time management skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
