Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Quality Manager to join our JAWACS team in San Antonio, TX. The successful candidate will have the ability to understand the business and work with executive leadership to organize information, organizational functions and develop recommendations.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages Quality Management System execution for business organization
Manages employees performing quality Inspections and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of product lifecycle
Provides oversight to teams to execute strategies, plans, policies, and procedures to maintain and improve performance
Provides education, coaching and ensures effective execution of the Quality Management System
Manages resources, provides quality system management and lead quality performance improvements through disciplined processes aligned with industry standards and contractual requirements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, functional stakeholders / peers, and direct reports
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
3+ years of experience working in a government Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environment
3+ years’ experience in reviewing engineering documents, drawings and process specifications
3+ years of experience working on defense contracts
3+ experience working with U.S. Government customers
Wiling to travel up to 10
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
3+ years of experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of Quality Tools, Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPM). Surveillance and Compliance Audits
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, functional stakeholders / peers, and direct reports

Summary Pay Range: $108,800 - $147,200
