JOB SUMMARY:
Perform visual and systems tests to ensure aircraft is safe for flight test activity. Perform preflight inspections to determine aircraft is safe for flight. Provide assessment to the crew of flight safety using applicable manuals. Conduct and buy-off squawks and removal log items necessary for flight.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Complete aircraft safety inspections (visual and systems testing)
Perform engine runs
Follow-up any activities in Safety Inspection that require additional testing
Perform preflight inspections ensuring aircraft is airworthy
Assist Pilots and FTEs for additional test parameters generated
Serve as a focal point for Pilots and FTEs during preparation of aircraft for flight
Ensure proper correction and sign-off of safety related squawks generated during Safety Inspection and Engine Runs
Assist Flight Line in troubleshooting of aircraft
Establish and perform test procedures for new modifications

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
5 years of aircraft maintenance experience with minimum 1 year of Falcon maintenance experience
Must have or obtain within 1 year of hire/promotion date engine run/taxi qualification on current Falcon model
Ability to read, write, and understand technical information from maintenance manuals, modification sheets, work instructions, and wiring diagrams
Must be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Able to travel domestically and internationally as required
Able to climb ladders and use stairs into and out of aircraft with or without reasonable accommodation
Highly motivated with ability to work unsupervised
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must be safety oriented
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree in aircraft maintenance field
Private Pilots License
WORKING CONDITIONS:
In hangar, on ramp, and in aircraft for extended periods.
Variable work hours to include weekends and all shifts dependent upon production and flight test schedules.
