Together, well proudly step back and say, “We did that”Job Summary:The Electrical Quality Inspector performs inspection activities on harnesses, parts and components, as well as on mechanical, electrical/electronic and hydraulic equipment in accordance with the current technical data. It requires technical knowledge, expertise, effective diagnostic and testing techniques related to a wide variety of equipment.Summary of Duties:• Performs skilled inspection activities that involve diagnosis of a variety of electrical parts, harnesses, equipment, components and/or systems.• Uses diagnostic and test equipment and a variety of tools specific to the trade.• Applies principles and practices of electrical and electronics theories.• Interprets and follows technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices.• Makes computer entries and completes various types of paperwork inspection and certification documents in accordance with FAA Regulations and company policies.• Follows industry/government specific guidelines, particularly as they relate to safety, health and environmental practices.• Assists with research and development of new capabilities; this will include reading and understanding new manuals and may include on and off site training.• Assists with the maintenance of shop equipment and supplies.• Maintains on organized workstation and shop floor in accordance with 5S standards in place.The expected salary range for this position is between $17.30/hr - $27.19/hr USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
