As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, overhaul, and alterations on aviation articles, including landing gear, wheel, brakes, and actuation components. You will carry out your duties in accordance with the current technical data provided by the manufacturer and other regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, overhaul, and alterations on aviation articles, such as landing gear, wheel, brakes, and actuation components.
• Adhere to technical data provided in manufacturer instructions and industry standard practices.
• Ensure all required tooling and equipment are operational, safe, and within calibration requirements.
• Review documentation of previous work accomplished on products.
• Evaluate components and identify necessary piece parts required for repairs and overhauls.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and post-servicing inspections of components.
• Coordinate with internal departments like Sales and Quality Assurance to support external customer base.
• Collaborate with other technical personnel to improve repair methods and skill set.
• Record work performed on appropriate maintenance records and within the internal work order system.
• Complete all assigned training and adhere to health, safety, and shop cleanliness requirements.

This role offers a clean work space environment, devoid of aircrafts, within a non-unionized, English-speaking culture. You will be part of a small team consisting of 3-4 current technicians. The dress code requires clean work clothes and safety shoes, including steel toe work boots. The position operates on a day shift from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 am to 1:00 pm on Fridays.
