Our client supports commercial and corporate aviation industries through repair and restoration of equipment used on airport property known as Ground Support Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on ground support equipment.
• Conduct system diagnostics to identify issues.
• Replace electrical components.
• Replace hydraulic filters.
• Replace seals and gaskets.
• Perform engine replacement or repair.
• Replace or repair compressors.
• Replace or repair generators.
• Replace or repair transmissions.
• Replace or repair differentials.
• Perform basic 3-phase AC motor and panel replacement, no armature work.

• Experience in diesel mechanics.
• Experience in electrical systems.
• Experience in hydraulic systems.
• Experience in pneumatics.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Experience with ground support equipment, trucks, and trailers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in preventive maintenance.
• Experience with heavy equipment.

• 5 years of in-depth hydraulic and/or mechanical experience, excluding facility maintenance or HVAC.
• Aviation experience is not required.
• On-the-job training related to this specific industry is available to every employee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
