Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be adept in the use of various drilling devices, such as pistol grip drill motors, 90-degree angle motors, and countersink cages. They will also acquire the ability to use reverse pancake motors, snatch blocks, Winslow guns, and Spacematic power feeds. Mastery of the entire sealing process, along with installation and removal of various fasteners, is required.
Responsibilities
- Utilize drilling devices including pistol grip drill motors and angle motors.
- Perform and master sealing processes including fay surface and fillet sealing.
- Install and remove various fasteners such as button head, flush hilok, and blind rivets.
- Run hydraulic systems tests as needed.
- Maintain high precision in drilling operations, ensuring true and round holes with proper angularity.
- Use manufacturing drawings (blueprints) to build assemblies.
Essential Skills- 1.5 - 2 years of experience in aircraft sheet metal assembly or structural repair.
- High school diploma.
- Proficiency in the use of pneumatic tools, electrical bonding equipment, and measuring devices.
- Ability to use scales, calipers, micrometers, and torque wrenches.
- Experience with drilling devices and setup of countersinks.
- Familiarity with the installation of both wet and dry fasteners.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Understanding of calibration requirements for various tools.
- Ability to distinguish between shear and tension fasteners.
- Knowledge of different sealing processes including aero and dome sealing.

Work Environment
Work in a 250,000 square foot facility located in Red Oak, where wings for the Global Express 8000 are manufactured. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Oak, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
