Join a dynamic team as an Aircraft Mechanic performing heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft for an air cargo carrier. You will receive task cards, read blueprints, identify necessary tools, and perform repairs or installations. Your work will focus on maintaining engines, flight controls, hydraulic, and electrical systems to complete heavy maintenance checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft.
• Receive and interpret task cards and blueprints.
• Identify and utilize appropriate tools for repairs and installations.
• Maintain and repair engines, flight controls, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Submit completed tasks for inspection.

• 5+ years of commercial aircraft maintenance experience.
• Airframe license minimum; A&P license preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and performing installations and repairs.
• Proficient in maintenance, modifications, and heavy checks.

• Must be open to one of the shift options, preferably open to all.
• MRO experience highly preferred.
• Must have a set of tools including sockets, screwdrivers, pliers, and a flashlight.

Work Environment

Work in an insulated hangar MRO with shops, a break room, and a tool crib all in the same building. Choose from two weekday shifts: 4-day shifts Monday-Thursday from 0600 to 1600 or 2nd shift from 1530 to 0200. Alternatively, work the weekend shift with 3-day shifts Friday-Sunday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $52.00/hr.
