1. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Graduate of an accredited paramedic school or state recognized paramedic program
National Registry Paramedic Certification
Must obtain certification in all states served by assigned base within 45 days of hire
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Paramedic in a high acuity setting including a busy 911 service.
Must have current BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS. Must obtain NRP certification within 3 months of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
FP-C or CCP-C is required within 2 years of employment
Completion of NIMS 100 and 200, within one year of hire is required
Live in or be willing to relocate to the region (within 2 hours or less of assigned base)
2. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience as a Flight Paramedic
Previous Critical Care transport experience.
Bachelor’s degree or above.
