Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Systems Engineer (Entry-level, Associate or Mid-Level) to join our team in the Washington State Puget Sound area. The selected candidate will join our operational digital thread and twin team to develop and deliver digital engineering solutions for internal Boeing customers. This position offers exposure to cloud-based technologies, requires working with different sources of operational airplane data, and allows for interactions with engineers and analysts across the company in developing digital thread solutions. This role requires working with engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and business intelligence specialists as part of a larger integrated project team. Position Responsibilities
Work closely with a team of engineers, developers, and business analysts
Research and understand a variety of airplane operational data
Work with airplane operational data to create digital thread data solutions
Lead a requirements gathering process with customers/users to elicit and document business, functional and non-functional requirements
Identify, develop, and maintain improvements to the digital thread and twin integrated processes
Resolve cross-functional technical issues
Participate in the agile planning process
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
(Level 2) 1+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
(Level 3) 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
Experience with:
SQL or other coding languages
Knowledge graph database (Neo4j)
Requirements development
Cloud computing environments (Azure Databricks)
Agile development teams, processes and methods
Azure DevOps (ADO) or other work management tools
Familiarity with operational airplane data
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and oral communication skills

Summary pay range for Entry-level (Level 1): $73,100 - $98,900
Summary pay range for Associate Level (Level 2): $87,550 - $118,450
Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $104,550 - $141,450a
