The Boeing Companys Ground Support Equipment teams in St. Louis and St. Charles, Missouri have an immediate opening for an Entry Level System Design Electrical Engineer.
This organization develops and maintains a wide range Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and analysis tools for numerous aircraft and weapons programs. Our equipment and software is used to support all phases of platform/weapon development: demonstration, production, field support, and depot repair. This individual will work in a team environment to develop test and repair capability for a wide variety of avionics and/or weapon systems.
A System Design Electrical Engineer in this role works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements, as well as analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
A System Design Electrical Engineer also tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements, as well as monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
You will solve problems concerning other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle, while researching specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
Position Responsibilities:
- System requirements analysis and development
- System test requirements analysis and development interface design
- Schematic analysis and design

- Test software analysis

- System selloff/verification
- Researching basic technologies for potential application to company business needs
- Support of problem resolution associated with fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
- Project lead activities for small projects, including customer interaction and basic Earned Value Management
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience or knowledge of RS422/RS232, PC104, TCP/IP & Ethernet, IEEE-488, MMSI, and MIL-STD-1553 communication standards, protocols and/or interfaces
- Experience with system requirements analysis, schematic analysis and design, interface hardware design, and hardware/software integration

Summary Pay Range: $66,300- $89,700
