Electronics Subsystem I&T Engineer:

Job Description:

Engage and collaborate with multidisciplinary Space Avionics design teams (electrical, mechanical, software, and network) to develop and carry out test campaigns supporting subsystem development, qualification, and acceptance testing.
Lead the development of AI&T plans and procedures, encompassing scheduling, resource identification, test architecture formulation, strategic approach, and detailed test flow creation.
Specify and structure the electrical ground support systems necessary for testing the unit.
Coordinate with vendors and supply chain partners to procure test support equipment and facilities, including those for thermal vacuum, vibration, and EMI/EMC environmental testing.
Develop detailed test scenarios and protocols to support the validation of subsystem specifications.
Create test scripts to automate testing routines and establish API-based integrations between telemetry and existing toolsets using SCPI protocols.
Perform assembly & integration of the subsystem under test and associated support tools (hardware, software, automation scripts, data logging systems, and UI interfaces), execute tests per validated/approved test plans, and deliver summarized results and insights to engineering stakeholders
Perform failure / anomaly investigations of a test case to determine its root cause
Familiarity with space hardware environmental testing standards such as SMC-S-016, NASA's GSFC-STD-7000, MIL-STD-461G.
