EMC Test Specialist

Job Description:

EMC Test Specialist – Avionics (Space Launch Vehicle)
We’re looking for an EMC Test Specialist to support MIL-STD-461 G qualification testing for avionics used in space launch systems. This role is hands?on and focused on test setup, execution, and data capture under the direction of an in-house test engineer.
What You’ll Do

Perform EMC testing per MIL-STD-461 G (CE102, CS114, RE102, RS103, etc.).
Set up instrumentation, cabling, fixtures, and test configurations.
Operate spectrum analyzers, signal generators, amplifiers, LISNs, probes, and antennas.
Document test results, configurations, and anomalies.
Support troubleshooting of EMC issues and maintain test equipment readiness.

What You Bring

Direct experience executing MIL-STD-461 EMC tests.
Strong hands?on skills with EMC test equipment.
Ability to follow engineering direction and work independently during execution.
High attention to detail and familiarity with aerospace or defense hardware.

Nice to Have

Degree in EE or related field (not required).
Experience with avionics, spacecraft electronics, or DO-160 testing.
Familiarity with EMC failure analysis or test automation.

Compensation: $70-$75 per hour W2.
