Let your career take flight by joining our diverse and vibrant team at the leading edge of passenger aviation.Reporting to the Manager of AQP Training Design, the AQP Training Designer collaborates with pilots and SMEs to design and deliver performance-driven, engaging, and innovative training solutions. This role utilizes instructional systems design (ISD) methodology in line with the Advanced Qualifications Program (AQP) standards to meet training requirements.
Responsibilities:Acquire data and conduct data analysis to identify training gaps and needs, collaborating with SMEs to develop training footprints and lesson outlines.Design, develop, and revise instructor-led and web-based courseware by choosing appropriate adult learning theoretical frameworks, instructional design principles, and best practices.Create engaging training that is text-light, visually rich, and practical. Leverage innovative instructional design strategies, such as scenarios, storytelling, and role-play, to create impactful learning experiences and improve retention.Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of training solutions, using established learning evaluation frameworks.Work within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.Stay current in the eLearning/training field and adopt new developments in educational technology and learning standards.
QualificationsExpertise in adult education or workplace, preferably in a technical field; University degree or college certificate in Adult Learning or similar is requiredDemonstrated experience with eLearning authoring tools (specifically Articulate Storyline 360), in addition to Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign), or similar tools.Strong skills in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable training content.Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail and task prioritization.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with SMEs and various stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Innovative, enthusiastic, and willing to take on challenges.Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
