Job Summary:
Provide systems specific support for all model Falcon aircraft to the command center, field service representatives, service centers, vendors, repair agents and/or customers in regard to the related systems
Provide troubleshooting guidance, answers to technical concerns and questions with regard to the related systems
Collaborate actively with coworkers and all customer service departments including Dassault Aviation; Monitor system / component failures and usage to identify potential fleet issues
Principal Duties:
Provide support to the Command Center, Field Service Representatives, Service Centers, Vendors, Repair Agents and/or Customers to resolve issues including but not limited to AOG support
Act as a focal point for all DFJ departments providing input on technical issues related to systems support
Attend and/or prepare regular meetings as necessary
Review documentation for technical accuracy, spelling, grammar, and readability prior to customer release
Validate service bulletins and maintenance procedures with W/H customers and/or DAS facilities on behalf of Dassault Aviation
Collaborate actively with coworkers within DFJ Engineering Support and Dassault Aviation
Track, monitor, and report findings for special investigations of failed equipment in coordination with Dassault Aviation
Support the DFJ model specialist as required for system based technical issues
Support the investigation efforts of NFF and DOA parts
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
BS Degree with emphasis on aviation industry or equivalent experience
Experience
One year of experience in supporting technical aspects of aircraft
Skills and abilities
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Multitasking and priority management skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and aircraft schematics
- Must be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess the ability to be a team player with a cooperative and helpful nature
- Strong computer skills with intermediate proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs
- Able to manage standard projects / tasks with supervision
- Ability to find solutions and/or alternatives/workaround in the best interest of our customers and the company
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Experience
- A&P license or equivalent experience strongly suggested
- Experience with Falcon aircraft or Business Jet Support experience
- Experience in Customer Support
- Experience in system/component failure analysis and/or aircraft system maintainability and reliability analysis
Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with French Language
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
- Knowledge of aircraft systems
- Knowledge or experience with 3D design software (i.e. CATIA V4/V5)
- Knowledge or experience with 3D design software (CATIA V4/V5)
Working Conditions:
Typical climate-controlled office environment including a cubicle (workstation), phone, and computer.
Domestic and international travel is required when necessary to accomplish the responsibilities of the job (approximately 5-10 travel)
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position typically falls between $88,000 and $90,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
