MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or Applied Science from an accredited College or University , –or- Certification as a registered professional engineer in any state of the United States that requires an examination to be certified + 2 years of experience. May substitute 2 years of directly related work experience for 1 year of college education.
- Strong analytical skills to assess situations and focus on important facts. Provide recommendations.
- Good written and oral communication skills including interpersonal skills. Ability to convey information, procedures or processes clearly.
- Good organizational skills
- Client oriented
- Ability to prioritize between various issues.
- Ability to build relationships with the customers.
- Ability to apply a process and to explain this process to the users.
- Ability to work in a small team dynamic
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Visual Basic (or other programming language).
- Database principles
- Business Analyst experience
- CATIA V5 or 3DX experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work in an open space office at a computer for long periods of time.
- On occasion, may be around loud noises (riveting, aircraft engines, etc. ).
- Fast paced office environment and production facility with business deadlines.
- Must be available and willing to work occasional non business hours and weekends when business issues dictate.
- Onsite position
- Needs to be willing to walk around the facility to discuss with the users in person when needed.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Build and/or enrich a knowledge base to share methodologies, and best practices
- Participate to the implementation and the migration of new processes and IT solutions.
- Accompany users in the implementation of tooled processes and make sure the tools are working properly
- Monitor the proper functionality of the tools and provide reports as needed
- Help users to solve issues they would face such as software incident or difficulties with methodologies and tools
- Participate in change management during the evolution of methodologies and upgrades, and propose evolutions
- Help with the production of training material tailored to the company tooled processes to train users
- Prepare, realize and attend testing and UAT phases of the new versions
- Help with the validation testing of the new processes and IT solutions evolutions
- Provide support to the users, especially when issues need business investigation as well as technical investigation with IT support
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The compensation for this position typically falls between $59,000 and $70,000 annually. This position is not eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
