Job Title: Avionics Technician (Selma, AL)Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Technician with extensive experience in Garmin avionics systems to join our aviation maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft electronics, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven track record of troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining complex avionics systems in accordance with FAA regulations.
Pay
- $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
Responsibilities- Install, inspect, test, and repair Garmin avionics systems including G1000, GTN, GFC, and other integrated flight decks on general aviation aircraft.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and avionics issues using advanced diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of avionics experience.
- Experience with troubleshooting and installing avionics equipment.
- Proficiency in Garmin systems.
- Strong understanding of avionics installation and modification.
- Ability to troubleshoot and interpret schematics and technical manuals.

Work primarily in a hangar environment on a day shift schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Selma, Alabama.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
