Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Avionics Computer Architect (f/m) to join our Avionics & Simulation Domain based in Toulouse, France.
The Avionics & Simulation Domain - so-called &39;Chamber of Reference&39; - is currently developing several brand new computers based on the Avionics product line while establishing new Ways of Working.
You will be part of the Architect & Safety team (~15 people) maintaining Legacy Avionics Products and developing new Avionic Products based on the Avionics product line..

Your challenges:
Within this exciting and challenging context, you will play a key role (depending on your profile and wishes) in:
the development of a new Avionic product- usually based on the Avionics product line or
the development of a new standard of a Legacy Avionic product or
the follow-up of Legacy Avionic product
Both types of development require to perform the main following activities:
Manage/challenge the product specification with regards to the needs and the feasibility (e.g. wrt the product line capability);
Define the best product architecture (or updated architecture in case of a Legacy product) and then the related requirements (incl. requirements on Perf., Safety, Quality, Industrial & environmental) and, ultimately, allocate these requirements among Hardware&Software teams through trade-off if required
Follow-up product maturity through contribution to V&V prioritization activities, prioritization of correction of anomalies and industrialisation follow-up
Contribute to safety analysis and demonstration for certification
Follow-up of Legacy Avionic computer mainly encompasses analysis of problems encountered in service plus related recommendations.

Your boarding pass:
Strong experiences in Equipment/System level development with experiences in Hardware & Software development;
Good knowledge of aeronautical stakes/regulations (e.g. ARP4754, DO178, DO254, DO160);
Good analysis / synthesis skills
Good communication & negotiations kills;
A negotiation level of French and English is required
