Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 10+ years of experience with electrical/electronic theories and avionics systems
- 10+ years working with schematics, specifications, and assembly drawings
- 10+ years installing, repairing, modifying, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Experience fabricating new wire bundles
- Experience routing and installing wire bundles on airplanes without existing wiring (commercial routing experience preferred)
- Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Avionics experience
- Depot-level/modification maintenance experience
- FAA Airframe and/or Power Plant certification
- Ability to operate forklifts, mobile cranes, and elevating equipment
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 35 lbs; occasional two-person lift for heavier loads
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working on elevated platforms
- Ability to work in confined spaces and noisy environments
- Pass visual acuity and color perception tests
