Job Description - QA Tester (Quality Analyst I)About the Role:
Quality Analyst I assists in the design, development, and execution of software tests to verify that software meets business or product requirements. They work closely with senior QA team members to gain practical experience in software testing methodologies and contribute to the overall quality assurance process.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing or QA roles.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience in API and Web services testing using tools like Postman.
Solid understanding of mobile testing principles and techniques.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitLab).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
Experience with specific tools/technologies relevant to our companys tech stack (list if applicable).
Familiarity with [specific domain or industry, if applicable].
