We are recruiting a Production Scheduler to join our Broughton‑based client on a 12‑month contract, working within a fast‑paced Planning & Logistics environment supporting the assembly of aircraft wing structures and fuel system installation.
This role is central to ensuring planning & logistics processes run effectively, supporting operational performance, continuous improvement activities, and future production growth. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with strong organisational skills who can operate confidently across multifunctional teams.
The Production Scheduler will work closely with Operations, Procurement, Logistics and other functional stakeholders, acting as a key link between planning, supply chain and manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities
Support planning & logistics activities including:
Working to the Method for Health and Safety Related Risk Assessment and Control, evaluating risks and contributing to continuous EHS improvement
Supporting the delivery of all required aircraft part commodities to achieve build, cost and delivery targets
Working within multi‑functional teams on improvement projects and resolving day‑to‑day operational issues
Supporting Operational Business Areas to achieve financial man‑hours per set
Anticipating and responding to rate changes, managing risks and opportunities accordingly
Supporting Operational & Functional deliverables with agility to production changes
Ensuring deployment of the Operating System (AOS) across relevant areas
Building strong interfaces with Procurement to anticipate and mitigate supplier performance risks
Supporting the relationship with the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) to ensure adherence to logistical processes and addressing non‑adherences
Skills & Experience
Advanced Google Sheets skills (including macros and data manipulation)
Excellent organisational skills with a logical, methodical and results‑driven approach
Strong decision‑making skills and initiative in problem‑solving
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Adaptable and flexible team worker
SAP Planning & Logistics knowledge preferable
Desirable
Manufacturing, engineering, logistics or supply chain background
Experience in production planning, scheduling or similar
Ability to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced operational environment

Contract & Benefits
12‑month contract (likely extension)
29.51 per hour Umbrella / 22.05 per hour PAYE
35‑hour working week (4.5‑day pattern between 7am–7pm)
Overtime available above 35 hours (25 Mon–Fri / 50 Sat–Sun)
BPSS+ clearance required
