Tasks
As part of the department, you will contribute to the preparation and optimization of financial reporting.
- You are right in the middle of preparing financial reports and support us in preparing the figures and making them transparent - all in accordance with international and German standards (IFRS and HGB)
- You will help us analyze and optimize processes to ensure that the figures are correct and the right decisions are made
- As a contact person for balance sheet-related topics, you communicate with various teams within the division and prepare information for reporting - both internally and externally
- You are the link to other areas (e.g. Operations) and are actively involved in projects and research that make our accounting processes even more efficient
Requirements
You are studying economics, business administration, finance or a similar course and are keen to get to grips with figures and financial processes.
- You are at least in the 3rd semester of your (Bachelors) degree at the time of the internship
- You are enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and written proof of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or are completing the internship between your Bachelors and Masters degree (Gap Year)
- You are motivated to learn and are interested in understanding the economic background and interrelationships of different departments of an international company
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point, and a willingness to learn new applications
- Quick comprehension, analytical skills, strong team spirit and structured way of working characterize you
