JOB SUMMARY:
Accountant position utilizes experience and knowledge to perform accounting activities, such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, analyzing and reporting monthly results, reserve review analysis and more. This position will provide challenging opportunities for an individual seeking accounting experience in many facets of Able accounting. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform monthly accounting responsibilities including journal entries, account reconciliations and reporting.
Perform assigned daily, weekly, monthly accounting tasks related to Revenue/Accounts Receivable, Cost of Sale/Inventory, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, etc.
Perform quarterly reserve reviews.
Review and analyze, as directed, SOX controls to ensure they are consistent with the business processes and operating effectively.
Provide financial data and related information in support of external and internal audit activities.
Work cross functionally with various functions across the business to ensure proper accounting transactions are being recorded.
Provide general support to other accounting, finance, and intercompany team members as required.
Assist in maintaining Finance and Accounting documents, records and reports to ensure compliance with the Records Retention Policy.
Maintain and develop personal, professional, financial and general business skills through professional education. Remain aware of current accounting and industry developments and trends.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong written and verbal communication
Strong analytical skills
Attention to detail, goal oriented.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple time sensitive responsibilities.
Highly motivated
Ability to work in team environment.
Sage Intacct familiarity a plus
